What is your Warranty period? We carry the same warranty as is provided by the manufacturer, 12 months.

 

Does it need maintenance? Maintenance is nominal on this extremely well built unit. The only regular maintenance required by the customer is to vacuum the rail with the brush attachment and then use a soft cloth with furniture polish applied to it and wipe the rail down. This should be done on a weekly basis for best performance of the stairlift.

 

How careful are you with my house? Since the stairlift unit is modular there are very few pieces brought into the home. All unpacking is done at our truck, and only the box for the motor is left with the customer. This is in case (and very rare) the motor malfunctions and must be returned to the manufacturer. Because of their very strict packing, this box must be used to return the motor. We make sure there is nothing in the area of installation (including pictures on the wall behind the stairlift, plants, decorations) that could possibly be damaged. These are moved to an area designated by the customer. Drop cloths are appropriately laid out below the stairway, where tools will be set. Once completed, we vacuum the stairway. This is an extremely clean process and the customer can expect everything will be left as it was when we arrived.

 

What happens when there is a problem with the product? First and foremost, it is important for the customer to check the diagnostic control panel for the "code" it is displaying. All of the codes are listed in the booklet given to customer at the time of installation. Many times it is a simple adjustment the client is able to take care of. Otherwise, we may be able to resolve the issue over the phone. If not, we will set up an appointment to get the unit repaired as soon as possible. We do understand the need for the stairlift to be working at all times. After the manufacturers guarantee has expired, we will still attempt to get the lift working by phone. If this is not possible, a service call will be set up.
